Concert "Yellow stars"

Concert "Yellow stars", dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, will be held in the Great Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic on January 21, 2018 at 19:00.

This concert is a memory evening with the main focus on the classical music. The visitors of the event will be able to immerse themselves deeper into difficult memories that are very important for each of us through listening to the beautiful music.
To remember the people that died during the Holocaust, the worst genocide in history, is our duty. For many decades this issue was banned in our country, as well as references to Jewish resistance and heroism.

Within the framework of the event, the installation, which was created by the famous author of Jewish dolls Valerie Gaishun and dedicated to the Holocaust tragedy, will be presented for the first time.

An important part of the event will be the photo exhibition "Ten Men: Ten Fates, One War." This is the part of the Dmitry Shemetkov's project "Faces of the community", created with the support of the Minsk Jewish Student Cultural Center "Hillel".
